Affiliate Disclosure
We want to be upfront about how this site is run and how it might earn money in the future. This page explains our approach to affiliate links and keeping our guides honest.
Where things stand today
At the moment, Website Lead Guide does not use affiliate links. The tools we mention in our guides are referenced as neutral examples, and we don't earn anything when you visit or sign up for them.
What may change
As the site grows, some pages may include affiliate links — links to tools or services where we could earn a small commission if you choose to sign up through them. If and when that happens, we'll note it clearly on the pages where those links appear, and this disclosure will reflect it.
In most affiliate arrangements, using an affiliate link does not add any cost for you compared with going to the tool directly. The commission, where it exists, generally comes from the company, not from you. Specific terms vary by provider.
How this affects our editorial approach
The point of this site is to help you solve a problem, not to push a product. So we hold to a few rules:
- We do not rank tools for commission, and we don't present a "best tool" list just to place links.
- We mention a tool only where it genuinely fits the workflow being described.
- We separate general guidance from tool-specific notes, so you can follow the advice without choosing any particular product.
- A commission, if one ever exists, never changes whether or how we cover something.
Changes to this disclosure
We'll keep this page current as the site's approach evolves. When we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top.
